Biography:

Phase 1: When a local waitress had an outing with a then-rising to fame Murdoc Niccals while drunk in America, she was accidently pregnant afterwards. Caden was born as a result, while she was a baby; her mother got married, severing all ties to Murdoc immediately. As Cade began to welcome her new step-father with open arms, she was traumatized by her mother attempting to kill her with a pistol, but couldn't do so. A year after Cade's birth, her parents died in a car crash.

Phase 2: Child services had to move Cade to a corrupt orphanage in London, England. She grew being abused and bullied to the points of death until at the age of 13; she met Murdoc, who was her biological father. He revealed that after escaping a jail in Mexico, he obtained a letter from Cade's mother, saying in her will that Cade is now in custody of Murdoc's care.
The demon bassist literally saved Cade, adopting her as his daughter and an addition to the Gorillaz family. Despite his flaws and habits in personality, Cade grew closer to her father, calling him "Uncle Murdoc" during the production of "Demon Days". She also became friends with the band, soon calling them her family.
Cade's first official role in the band was a roadie for the Demon Detour and Days tours, providing lighting for the "Feel Good, Inc." video, and singing with a children's choir and Bootie Brown for "Dirty Harry".
Cade was extremely close to guitarist Noodle, treating her like an older sister. When Noodle died in the "El Manana" video, the band broke up and Cade went into a catatonic depression until Murdoc showed in Rise of The Ogre that Noodle was alive. Cade slowly recovered from this state, but was still depressed when Murdoc failed to find Noodle in Hell, where she dragged to.

Phase 3: Cade moved to Santa Clara, CA with Murdoc, where she attended middle school. Cade's depression began to worsen through the years, eventually becoming suicidal in 8th grade; she was hospitalized and given therapy. After 2 months, Cade is discharged from the mental hospital; it is after several visits with her therapist, Cade learns that she is diagnosed with Asperger's Syndrome, a mild form of autism. Murdoc is surprised by this, but still cares for Cade.
After the two Niccals managed to cope with the mental problems, they returned home to Kong Studios in Essex, England following Cade's graduation from middle school.  Cade finally calls Murdoc "Dad", strengthening their bond.
Murdoc burns down Kong Studios, taking Cade with him to find a new home. He manages to find one on Point Nemo A.K.A: Plastic Beach. Cade spends her summer on the island helping her father build their new home. While living there, she discovers that her father built a cyborg replica of Noodle from her DNA remains from the "El Manana" video, then gassed and kidnaped 2D in Beirut, trapping him in an underwater room with a whale watching him due to 2D's fear of whales.

Cade later attends high school under her original last name, while her father is at "work", producing tracks for a new album named after the island, only attending meetings in disguise because of pirates hunting after him. She began doing photography during her sophomore year as a hobby, which later turned into a freelancing business with the school's newspaper. Cade later meets the Boogeyman, a gas masked demon that is after her father's soul due to failing his end of deal and the Evangelist, a spiritual manifestation of Murdoc's good side and is Cade's guardian angel.

"Plastic Beach" was later released towards the end of Cade's sophomore year, where she became a roadie once again for the Escape to Plastic Beach World Tour during that summer, helping Damon Albarn and the live band while her dad was locked up in the dressing rooms. The tour continued though her junior year at school.

During the tour, the real Noodle and a now giant Russel returned to the island during an attack by the Boogeyman and his pirates. After defeating the pirates, Cade and the band left Plastic Beach in mid-November to move back home to 212 Wobble St in London.

Cade continued her studies in Santa Clara as a junior, visiting the band on the weekends. She was later accepted by her school after the band released "The Fall", an album 2D recorded during the World Tour, and "Do Ya Thing" as part of shoe company Converse's "3 Artists, 1 Song" promo and shoe collection designed by the band's visual artist Jaime Hewlett, revealing her family relationship to Murdoc to the school. The band is treated normally, instead of celebrities. Murdoc is able to go out in public, becoming an advisor to his daughter.

Cade obtained another guardian angel in the Boogeyman after he was vanquished by the Evangelist, the Grim Reaper punished the Boogeyman severely for his actions to retrieve Murdoc's soul, so he instead placed the gas-masked demon to watch and protect Cade and her family. If he tried to hurt them or attempt to get Murdoc's or anyone's soul, he would be eliminated permanently.
School life resumed normally for Cade, her freelance photography now expanded with the school's website and yearbook. The school's annual Battle of the Classes was the only time that Gorillaz reunited to perform with Cade's junior class. After shooting the video for "Do Ya Thing", the band was evicted, but moved in with Cade and Murdoc in their home in Santa Clara.

Trivia

• Cade does various hobbies besides photography and drawing, as she is a practitioner of boxing, often training or sparring with Murdoc. She also studies martial arts from Noodle. She also is being mentored in cooking with Russel. Like her father, Cade can play bass and drums like Russel. She taught herself electric guitar while on Plastic Beach.

• Has chronic pain on her left knee (sprained it sparring with Murdoc a year ago in Phase 2) and left shoulder (Torn muscles while fighting the Boogeyman and his pirates on Plastic Beach).

• Cade was not comfortable calling Murdoc "Dad", so she often referred to him as "Uncle Murdoc" until he burnt down Kong Studios.

• As a roadie for the Demon Detour, Demon Days, and Escape to Plastic Beach Tour, Cade is well skilled in lighting effects as demonstrated on the "Feel Good, Inc." Video. At one point, she performed for the 1st time at the La Musicale show, playing bass alongside Clash bassist Paul Simonon and singing backup vocals.

•Cade's shirt in BOTC has the band's symbolic number 23 on the back while Murdoc wears one with 666 on the front.

•Unlike Murdoc, who has Anablephobia (Fear of looking up); Cade has the opposite, which is Acrophobia (Fear of heights).
